Challenge

Playmates sought to revitalize their TMNT action figure line by introducing large-scale, fully posable figures. The goal was to maintain the classic essence of the characters while incorporating modern, stylized features to appeal to a broad audience of fans and collectors.

Approach

Made Concepts developed a design with exaggerated proportions that amplified each character’s unique traits, giving the figures a fresh, dynamic look. We produced 3D renders, sculpts, and prototypes, ensuring full articulation and a strong visual impact. Collaboration with Playmates ensured alignment on design and functionality.

Result

The prototypes were completed and reviewed, shared with potential buyers, and introduced in Playmates' showrooms. While the product is not yet available in the market, the designs generated significant interest from buyers, positioning the line for potential future release.
